Controller of stream information storage device based on VHS videotape recorder “ArVid”

“ArVid” is one of the first initiative projects of ANO PO “KSI” (1990-1997).

The device allows connection of VHS videotape recorder to PC as a stream information storage device
(streamer) with a speed of data exchange up to 520 kb/sec (up to 6 Gb at the cassette E-180 SP).

“ArVid” was produced serially for the markets of former USSR. Total output and sales were more than 200 000 devices.
